How does this calculator work?
What questions do people ask about this calculator?
What is residual value?
It is the estimated vehicle value at the end of the lease, expressed here as a percentage of MSRP.
What is a money factor?
Leases commonly quote a money factor; this calculator accepts an APR-equivalent estimate and uses APR divided by 2,400.
Are taxes included?
No. Sales tax, acquisition fees, registration, mileage charges, and disposition fees are excluded.
Does a down payment always help?
It lowers modeled depreciation cost, but ask about risk and how the contract treats an early total loss.
Is this an offer?
No. The signed lease worksheet and lessor disclosures control.
